Shooting Experience:
- The secret to shooting to with a high degree of success is committing to meaningful practice on a regular basis. When I started shooting I was in living in military dorms where I couldnt have a gun. But love finds a way and I got a 5' x 5' storage unit about 30 minutes off base. I would drive 30 minutes to it 4 days a week and spend an hour inside it with no heat/air, using a headlamp for light and everything from stickers to tape to the bugs on the wall as dry fire targets. Ide practice the fundamentals. After about 2 years of this practice I shot my first competition... I was instantly humbled. USPSA brought my skillset into perspective and really drove home my weaknesses. Fast forward 3 years and over 60 matches later, including indoor outlaw matches, sanctioned USPSA matches as well as level 2 and 3 competitions out of state and I've come a long way. In 2022 I was selected as the first active duty Space Force member in history to be a part of the Department of the Air Force Action Pistol Team. It is an opportunity that I will be forever grateful for. I served on the team until February of 2025. I started Greytshot to give back to the shooting community. My desire is to offer what I wish I could have found when I was just starting out. Affordable advanced shooting classes from someone utilizing the most modern techniques who also competes on a regular basis, that can prove they work, on the spot. I could have saved a lot of time and sore hands if I had what I am currently offering available to me...
